DESCRIPTION:جلسة حوارية “المكتبة كمحرك للتغيير” @ مؤسسة عبد الحميد شومان\nMonday\, December 5\, 2016 – at 6:30 PM – 8 PM\nاحتفاء بمرور 30 عاما على تأسيس مكتبة عبد الحميد شومان العامة، يستضيف منتدى مؤسسة عبد الحميد شومان الثقافي الخبيرتين د. ساري فيلدمان من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية و د.هنالور فوكت من ألمانيا ليلقيا الضوء على الدور الجديد للمكتبات في العصر الرقمي ومكتبات المستقبل. يرأس الجلسة ويدير الحوار المهندس يوسف الوادي المؤسس والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة نستروم، ثلاثاء عمّان التقني. قد تكون المكتبة العامة في عرفها السائد مكانا يحوي مصادر المعرفة المختلفة والتي تكون متاحة للمجتمع من أجل البحث والاطلاع والاستعارة. لكن في ظل الثورة المعرفية والتطورات التكنولوجية التي يشهدها العالم لا بد من التساؤل\nهل للمكتبة دور يتعدى ذلك؟ وما هو دور المكتبة في العصر الرقمي؟ كيف يمكن للمكتبة أن تكون مقصدا وقبلة لأفراد المجتمع؟ وكيف يمكن أن تسهم في تنمية الفرد والمجتمع ؟\nد. ساري فيلدمان المديرة التنفيذية لمكتبة مقاطعة كاياهوغا في أوهايو منذ عام 2003، والرئيس السابق لجمعية المكتبات الأمريكية 2015/2016، والتي قادت مكتبتها لإحراز أعلى الدرجات على مستوى الولايات المتحدة كأكبر أنظمة مكتبات خاصة بالدوريات لسبع سنوات على التوالي، تقلدت العديد من المناصب وحازت على العديد من الجوائز منها جائزة قيادة المكتبات المبتكرة\nد.هنالور فوكت مديرة مكتبة كولونيا العامة منذ 2008 والتي نالت جائزة “مكتبة العام 2015” في ألمانيا، كما وجائزة “المدير الثقافي للعام 2016″، كما وعملت في المجلس الإستشاري في معهد غوته وفي الاتحاد الدولي لجمعيات المكتبات وكمستشارة استراتيجية في مؤسسة بيل وميلندا غيتس.\nثلاثاء عمّان التقني، فعالية تقام أول ثلاثاء من كل شهر، وتجمع التقنيين والمهندسين والمستثمرين وخبراء القطاع للتحاور في مساحة معرفية مفتوحة. منذ تأسيسها عام 2010 كمبادرة غير ربحية تابعها أكثر من 40 ألف من الجمهور المهتمين.\nأصدقاء مؤسسة عبد الحميد شومان، كونوا معنا في السادسة والنصف من مساء الإثنين 5 كانون الأول 2016 في جلسة نقاشية حول دور “المكتبة كمحرك للتغيير\nملاحظة: الدعوة عامة، الترجمة الفورية متوفرة\nCelebrating Abdul Hameed Shoman Public Library’s 30th anniversary\, Abdul Hameed Shoman Cultural Forum presents the experts Dr. Sari Feldman from the USA and Dr. Hannelore Vogt from Germany to shed light on the new role of libraries in the digital age and the libraries of the future in a panel discussion moderated by Yousef Al Wadi\, AmmanTT.\nThe public library in its conventional definition is a space containing collections of various information resources in its various forms for viewing\, research and borrowing by the public. But in light of the knowledge revolution and technological advances worldwide.\nWe find ourselves faced with many questions; is there a different role for libraries? And what is it in the digital age? How can the library be a community hub? And how can it contribute in its individuals’ development?\nDr. Sari Feldman: Executive Director of Cuyahoga County Public Library (CCPL)\, a role she has held since 2003. Under her leadership\, CCPL has received the highest overall score among America’s largest metropolitan library systems in Library Journal’s Index of Public Library Service for seven consecutive years (2010-2016). Ms. Feldman is the recipient of the 2013 PLA Charlie Robinson Award\, which recognizes innovative library leadership. She was elected president of the ALA for the 2015-16 term. Feldman has written widely for professional publications.\nDr. Hannelore Vogt: head of Cologne’s prize-winning city Library since 2008. In 2015 the Library was honored with the German “Library of the Year “award. In 2016 she received the Cologne Cultural Prize as “Cultural Manager of the Year”. She was a long-standing chairperson of the advisory board at the Goethe Institute\, IFLA. And as strategic consultant with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.\nAmman Tech Tuesdays (#AmmanTT):\nA free and open to the public monthly forum that takes place on the first Tuesday of the month and brings together local technologists\, engineers\, investors and industry experts to exchange in open knowledge exchange around a relevant technical topic.
